Every place in your campaign lives on the Locations page, from a whole region down to a single room. Write a place once, and it's ready wherever you need it: in your scenes, on the Run screen, and for your players.

Details
Add a Notable feature, the one thing the party will remember it by. Then set the Danger level, from one, Peaceful, to five, Deadly.
Discovered by the party shares the place with your players. They see its name, type and description on their People and places tab. Never its danger level, and never your notes. It starts the way your campaign's sharing settings say, and you can change it at any time.
Notable feature
A short defining trait or active hook, e.g. "the well never runs dry."
The ferry only crosses at low tide.
Danger level
How risky this place is for the party, on a five-point scale.

Choose the Location type. A settlement gets a size too: small, medium or large. Leader is the NPC who runs the place, and New NPC makes one and brings you straight back. Parent location nests this place inside a bigger one. Here, Brackenford sits in the Greyfen Moors.

Finding your way round the tree
A place inside another sits indented beneath it, and branches start folded, so even a big world stays easy to find your way around. Press the arrow beside a name to open a branch, or fold it away again. Each row shows the type, the notable feature, and whether it's still undiscovered, with the danger level on the right.
