Combat settings
Setting up your campaign · guide 3 of 5
Four settings decide what your players see and do in a fight, so every fight runs the way your table likes it.
On your campaign's Build page, press Settings. They're in the second card, At the table.
Enemy health players see
Enemy health players see. This is what players see of an enemy on their Combat page, in a fight you've shared.
Hidden shows nothing. Once bloodied shows a health bar when the enemy drops to half its hit points. Health bar always shows the bar, and Numbers shows the exact hit points too.
Friendly creatures always show in full, whatever you choose.
Players see each other's health
Just under it, Players see each other's health. Turn it off, and each player sees only their own.
Players change their own HP and conditions
Players change their own HP and conditions. On, players keep their own hit points, conditions and death saves up to date, which saves you tracking everyone. You can still overwrite them from the tracker. Off, only you change them, and players see them read-only.
Players roll their own initiative
Players roll their own initiative. On, once you share a fight, each player types their roll on their Combat page, and it goes straight onto your tracker, where anyone still to roll shows Waiting for roll. Off, you enter every initiative yourself.
Like every setting, each one has Default, which follows your account defaults, and each change saves the moment you make it.
That's combat settings. Pick what suits your table, and every fight runs your way.
