Player homebrew
For players · guide 9 of 9
Got an idea for a species, a spell or a magic sword? You can make it yourself, and send it to your Game Master to approve for your game.
Make an entry
Open your character, and press Homebrew. Choose a tab, from species and classes to spells and items, and press New.
The forms are the same ones your Game Master uses, so the app works out your homebrew's numbers just like the official rules.
You can make anything except monsters, and keep up to twenty-five entries. Your homebrew belongs to your account, so every one of your characters sees the same list.
Ask for approval
Your characters can only use an entry once the Game Master of their campaign approves it.
Press Send to my DM to ask. Each entry then shows what they said, for this character's campaign. Changed your mind before they answer? Press Take back.
If your Game Master sends it back with a note, you'll see what they said. Change it, and press Send again.
Change an approved entry
If you change an entry your Game Master has already approved, it saves a new version and asks them again. Your characters keep the old version until they approve the change, so nothing breaks mid-campaign.
Delete, retire and bring back
Delete removes an entry nobody uses. If something uses it, it's retired instead, so it keeps working where it's used, and Bring back returns it.
Your ideas at the table, with your Game Master's blessing.
