Sometimes a whole new class is too much. A subclass gives an existing class a fresh path, like a fighter sworn to a volcano god, and it slots straight into levelling up.
Start a new subclass
On your Build page, press Homebrew, choose the Subclasses tab, and press New subclass.

Give it a name, which can't be the name of an official subclass. Champion is taken, but Champion of Ash is fine.
Choose the class it belongs to. That can be an official class, or one of your own homebrew classes. Add a description, and the level it's chosen at. In the 2024 rules, that's level three.
