A feat is a small rule that makes a character special. With homebrew, you can write your own, and the app does the sums for the parts it understands.
Start a new feat
On your Build page, press Homebrew, choose the Feats tab, and press New feat.

They appear in your campaigns' drop-downs and in Reference.

Give it a name, which can't be the name of an official feat. Under What it does, describe it. Leave a blank line between benefits, and they show as separate points.

Kind of feat
Choose its kind. Origin feats are taken at character creation, General feats from level four, Fighting Style feats through a class, and Epic Boons at level nineteen.
Who can take it
Under Who can take it, write any prerequisite in words for your players to read. The level, and a minimum ability score if you tick one, are what the app actually checks. You can also let it be taken more than once.

Rules the app works out
Rules the app works out are the ones it already handles for official feats. It can give an ability score increase, add proficiency to initiative like Alert does, give a bonus to Armour Class while wearing armour, or to ranged weapon attack rolls, and let the player choose skills, or tools instead.
