Everything about your account lives in one place: your plan, what you've used, your ads choice, and closing your account if you ever need to.

Account, with Billing
The line under the title names your plan, and, while a subscription is running, the date it renews or ends.
Compare plans and move up
Plans shows all three side by side, Free, Standard and Archmage Tier, with yours marked Your plan. Each one shows what it includes, like how many campaigns you can run at once, how many NPCs, places and puzzles you can keep, and whether you get scene soundscapes.
To move up, press Monthly or Yearly on the plan you want, and pay on a secure checkout page.

DM-atabase submissions waiting on moderators are capped at 3 on every plan; upgrading does not raise it.
Campaigns are never deleted for being over a limit. An account that drops below what it is using keeps everything, read-only, until there is room again.

Manage billing
Once you've paid for a plan, press Manage billing, change plan or cancel. That's where you change your card, switch plan, see your invoices, or cancel.
Your usage
Your usage counts your whole account against your plan's limits. A number turns orange as you get close to a limit, and red when you're nearly there, so a limit never takes you by surprise.

Ads and cookies
If you use Critsmith free with ads, the Ads and cookies box is here too. Stop ads lets you choose again: ads, the ad-free plan, or a membership. And Change Google's ad choices lets Google ask you again how its ads are chosen. What this box shows depends on where you live.
Ads and cookies
You chose to use Critsmith free, with ads. To show them, Google stores a small file on your device, which it uses to show ads and to stop fake clicks.
Stop ads
You then choose again: ads, the ad-free plan or a membership. Until you do, only ad-free campaigns open. Account, Billing and your data stay open.

Google’s ad choices
Google asks you again whether its ads can be chosen to suit you.

Close your account
If you ever want to leave, go back to Account, and choose Close your account. It lists exactly what gets deleted and what stays, and lets you take a copy of each campaign first.
A paid plan needs cancelling before you can close. Then type your email address, and press Delete my account permanently.

Deleting your account is permanent. There is no recycle bin, and there is nothing we can restore it from afterwards, for you or for anyone else.
What gets deleted
2 campaigns and everything in them: the NPCs, locations, factions, plot threads, items, shops, encounters, puzzles, session notes, combats and character sheets.
Every vote and difficulty rating you have cast on other people’s shared work. The totals move slightly, which is honest.
Your sign-in details, and every setting and limit attached to this account.
What stays
2 things you shared to the DM-atabase stay, with your name taken off them. They will show as "A deleted account".
A record of each email we sent you: what kind it was, when, and whether it arrived. Not your address and not what it said. Each record is deleted automatically 25 months after it was sent.
Take a copy first
You can download any of your campaigns as a file before you delete anything. They are yours to keep and we do not keep a copy.
